Short Bio

I am a graduate student in the computer graphics research group led by Jaakko Lehtinen. I am currently studying Metropolis and gradient-domain rendering methods for realistic image synthesis but I'm also very interested in material models and methods for real-time rendering.

I received my master's degree in applied mathematics from University of Helsinki in 2011 with minor in theoretical physics. Since then I was building Kanzi, a 3D graphics and user interface engine by Rightware, until early 2013 when I was given the chance to pursue my dream at Aalto.

I also like developing games and demoscene products. I won the 4k intro competition at Assembly 2012 with Fireflies and I lead a game development project of around ten people.
